The Soxhlet Extraction Tube is made of see through type with ST (Sold Thermocouple) Joint at one end and a PTFE tube with ST Joint at the other end. The Allihn Condenser has a ST Joint at one end and an ST Joint at the other end. The ST Joints permit the exchange of gases viscous liquids and vapors.
