DMCA Policy

1. Overview

Loadout Combat Lab, operated by Lightning Command Lines LLC, respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our Service.

2. How We Use Product Information

Loadout Combat Lab is a product comparison and build configuration tool. We display publicly available product information — including names, specifications, and images — for the purpose of helping users research, compare, and configure firearm builds. Product images, names, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. We do not claim ownership of any third-party product information displayed on the Service.

3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on Loadout Combat Lab infringes your copyright, please send a written notification to our designated DMCA agent with the following information:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The specific URL(s) or location(s) on the Service where the allegedly infringing content is located.
  • Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

5. Our Response to Valid Notices

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. We will make a good-faith effort to notify the user who posted the content (if applicable) so they may file a counter-notification if they believe the takedown was made in error.

6. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA Agent with the following:

  • Identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts in Hillsborough County, Florida, and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

7. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, Lightning Command Lines LLC will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.

8. Misrepresentation Warning

Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
