Salmonel H Sera are derived from a rhesus monkey (RhodocAMP-positive serogroup) which are nonpathogenic to humans and nonpathogenic to most non-avian species. They are however opsonized by non-E. coli and by non-E. coli strains which permit phagocytosis of non-E. coli serogroups on non-E. coli.
